Children’s table tennis tournament “Step into Future”

National table tennis tournament “Step into Future” among children’s sport schools of the cities where UMMC enterprises are located is organized to promote the sport of table tennis among youth, to involve as many children as possible into table tennis, to increase physical condition and sport skills of young palyers and to identify young talanted players to further place them into development program at specialized sport college. 16 teams will participate in the tournament in 2018.

1 stage: Regional competitions.

Region «South» is composed of teams from the following cities: Chelyabinsk, Mednogorsk, Sibai, Uchaly, Gai.

Region «North»: cities of Serov, Krasnoturinsk, Krasnouralsk, Neviansk, Verkh- Neivinsk.

Region «Center»: cities of Verkhnaya Pyshma, Shadrinsk, Sukhoy Log, Revda, Kirovgrad, Rezh.

Teams are divided into region groups on the basis of the proximity of the participating city to the city where the 1^st and 2^nd rounds of the 1^st stage are organized.

2	April 26—29, 2018	Sukhoy Log	II round
3	September 2018	Gai	Final (3 best teams)

More than 100 players participated in the tournament in 2017, they were cadets and mini-cadets 2002 – 2004 b.y., cadets and mini-cadets 2005 – 2007 b.y. Tournaments were organized in single, double and team competitions.
